This is why you set up the security on your hot spot. I set mine to only allow certain MAC addresses to log in as well. This is a unique identifier for a specific piece of hardware. And before everyone comes out and says the obvious - yes it can be cloned, but That's more work than I think your average person that "borrows" your connection is willing, or can do. Using an open wifi connection to connect to the internet is far different than hacking into the equipment attached to that wifi router.
