Regarding use of Home HD receivers in RV's.. DirecTV SOME (but not all) of the receivers will or will not work with a 18" round dish.. DOME type and automatic portables are "18" round" in the parlence of DirecTV. so if that option is grayed out. Your receiver needs a proper Triple LNB Dish (DirecHD dish) of one type or another. Make sure you have the correct mobile antenna.
