Another thing to watch for with directv, I recently switched from cable to Directv at my home in order to have satellite tv in the rv. My rv has an older winegard dome on the roof that will only work with the h24 or older receiver. I asked when signing up if I could get the genie and one mini genie for the house, and an h24 for the rv. They said sure, no problem. When the tech showed up at my house, he had no h24, only the genie and two mini genies. I explained what I was told on the phone when signing up about the h24. The tech made some calls, and then informed me that if I wanted the h24, it would take them a few days to get one, and it would be an additional $199.00. Wonderful. The sign up guy either lied, or had no clue what he was talking about. The tech guy (3rd party contractor) was very helpful, knowledgeable and even apologetic about Directv's incompetence. Bottom line, don't expect too much when dealing with directv employees, you will probably be disappointed.
