How do I reach my Firefox browser
For some reason my Firefox browser icon on the Start screen doesn't work any more, so how do I access my browser without the Shortcut icon? Need help desperately.

Delete old Firefox icon. Right click on your desktop. Hit new, then shortcut, then browse to the location of your Firefox directory.
You will normally find Firefox on drive C: under the directory "Program files (x86)". Find the sub directory Mozilla Firefox and in it you will find Firefox.exe. Click on that and you will have new working icon.
All this is assuming your current Firefox install is still intact.
