How do I turn off these notifications on my phone?
HTC Incredible version 1. Verizon is the provider. I received some sort of notification of a news story this morning on my phone and want to turn these off. How do I do that? Thanks

What kind of news story? There are Amber Alerts and well as Government mandated alerts. You can turn off the Amber Alerts but not the Government ones.
The one this morning was for the incident at the Navy Base.
