How to get Amazon Prime Vido with my Bluray dvd

I have a 2-3 year old Samsung Bluray dvd that I use for Netflix, etc. I'm thinking about signing up for Amazon Prime to access their video. How do I connect with my Samsung dvd? I did not see an Am...

The reason we bought a Roku is that very few Blu-ray players (and even smart TVs) are updated after the model is no longer current. We had a relatively new Blu-ray player that was bought just before Amazon started its streaming service. There was no way we could update it to include Amazon, so for less than the cost of a new Blu-ray we bought a Roku. Roku software is updated on a periodic basis and we have access to hundreds of streaming channels.
