I've been using Verizon cellular service for years, and have always been satisfied with their coverage, customer service, etc. However, for the past several months there have been periods when no service at all was available. Most of the problem occurs during the mornings, when it becomes impossible to place a call since there's no signal. Being handicapped, it's become a safety situation.
It appears that the problem has gotten worse when I moved from Tucson to Amarillo a few months ago, so it may be a regional situation. I'd like to stay with Verizon, but if it becomes necessary to switch, so be it. My question is: Have any of you other Verizon users had a similar situation? Thank you.
I used to have Verizon way back with an analog cell phone, was no towers anywhere near my home so no service at home.. But needed the phone for my long commute..
Fast forward to now days, closest Verizon cell tower is STILL to far from my house for any "reliable" usage, so we had to change to ATT which has multiple towers within 5 miles or less of our home..
You might find that there is no cell tower close enough to you.
I would recommend taking a look at the cell tower maps..
Found a good one that I have used many times over the yrs that will tell you exactly where each carriers cell towers are in relation to your address.
