I'm not hip on tech but two of my kids have the 6 and both love it. They have the reg one and it's not horribly huge, in fact, I believe it's a smidge smaller than my S5
I received mine about 5 weeks ago... or so....I do like it a lot , and as stated it is not horribly large. I have the regular 6 , not the 6 plus. I wave not updated to the apple pay yet , waiting for bugs to be worked out if there are any...
Everyone I know who has the 6 loves it. My opinion is that the plus is too big for a phone but if you want to declutter you can also use it an a reader and web surfer.
Got the 6+ (64gb) a few weeks ago and am sold on it already! It took a few days to acclimate myself to the size compared to my previous 5s, but now there's no looking back!
Set up APPLE Pay with the release of iOS8.1 yesterday and marveled at how easy it was to pay at McDonalds and Walgreens with it. Can't wait for more merchants to join in.
I find the camera better than the 5s. Battery life with the 6+ is a huge improvement. I haven't touched my iPad Mini since. I might have to sell it off!
I have been waiting a long while for Apple to manufacture a larger screen like the Android. I lOVE, LOVE my iPhone Plus. It is wonderful, especially for those of us who are challenged in seeing close up. It makes surfing the net and playing games so much easier. I cannot think of any negative aspects of a larger screen. I highly recommend making the purchase.
I have a 6 and my wife the 6+ We both love them! Since my phone lives in my front pocket, the 6+ was just too big especially with a case. The 6 with a basic Speck case fits about the same as my old 4 did. My wife always has her purse, so the 6+ with the massive case she got for it is a non-issue. Apple finally got the energy consumption down, and battery life is awsome. I am not a real heavy user, and have gottn by with 2 days without charging. IMHO, the 6 and 6+ are a much bigger step than any of the previous intervals, and if trying to decide between the 5s or a 6 it is a no brainer to me.
The cameras are also very good. Even though they are the "same megapixle" count as before and much less than the competitors, what is more important is the sensor size and density. The sensor is a bit bigger, the density is lower, so it takes less light to saturate it making it noticably better in low light than any other phone camera I have seen, which to us is important!
Some great information. I was looking at the 6+ but like to carry the phone in my front pocket. As I get older the larger screen would help me but I want to carry it in my front pocket. Don
I have heard that people that place the 6+ in their front pocket have had bending issues.... But then again , it's usually kids and their skinny jeans...
