ALot of the earlier POPUP had these phono plug connection mounted in the ceiling lamps that tapped into 12VDC. You could plug your FAN and LAMP like you have shown into the ceiling light phono socket and then clamp the FAN ASSY to the metal TENT BED top support.
Mine didn't last but a couple of seasons of camping and finally went with the O-2COOL 10-Inch AC/DC/D CELL fan (WALMART-LOWES) which are still working today... Much better fan assy.
