IE-11/crashing problems

My OS is Win 7 Home Premium on a 64-bit Samsung laptop. I've had nothing but problems with IE-11 since I installed it three weeks ago. I have to go to Task Manager six or seven times/session to re-boot Yahoo Mail. I tried the 'compatibility' idea but that didn't seem to make any difference. Anybody else experience this? Thanks.

    I'd been using Chrome but when I got the new machine thought I'd try IE again. Heading back to Chrome.

    Didn't know there were still some people out there that still used IE for a browser. Switch to Foxfire or Chrome and don't look back.

    I rarely use IE 11, but have had no issues with Yahoo Mail or Groups with both WIN 7 HP or Pro. Are you using any toolbars or extensions?

    Ever since my computer updated to Window 8.1 IE has had issues. Pages use to come up with broken page icon, which they don't anymore, they just don't load.

    I find it funny that Google displays funny now when you do a search and I played with the compatibility settings. Is this a conspiracy to use Bing :) Find it interesting the sites I have the most issues with are competitors.
