Cable TV would not make or break a campground stay for us and never has. We don't travel or get away to watch TV, we can do that at home. Wifi on the other hand is always very nice to have for us, but have never found a campground with reliable service unless you're sitting squarely in the office, which is a bummer.
But that's just us... from the replies here so far, it appears TV is important to most. As has been mentioned, if you are already trenching, and the expense is something you feel comfortable with, this would be the time to do it.
