Do you mean that the CD contains photos together with music, which generally indicates they are no longer in an image format, but a slide show format. Could be the format is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. What format are the CD files? What's the file extension? Basically, right-click the CD in Windows Explorer and select Open to check.
