Has anyone tried or been successful with one of the indoor HD antennas inside an RV ?
I know the location can make a huge difference but what I'm wondering is are they better then the traditional roof mounted antenna on an RV ?
We have an aluminum sided TT and have a nice outside wall location in a cabinet behind the TV location so it would be hidden nicely. And there is power there if anyone can recommend a good one with a booster.
Am I wasting time and money on this ?
Thanks
short answer...yes, you're wasting money. unless you're in an urban environment just a few miles from the transmit site your results will be poor. an outdoor mounted antenna is the way to go. and fyi...there is no such thing as an HD antenna. whether you can receive HD programs is a function of your TV, not the antenna. a small but important distinction.
