Inside Security Cameras?

We have no security camera at home since we full-time in our motor home.

I WANT the people who service our motor home to know we have cameras and will post the appropriate stickers on the entry door and elsewhere.

If we pick up our motor home after having it served and the cameras are gone, we know it happened while being serviced.

The ONLY reason I don't want a camera that connects to the Internet is that we have to pay for our data usage. I expect a camera recording to the Internet would use a lot of data. If I am wrong about this, please let me know.

OK,this is probably a stupid question but if you have a camera that records to an SD card, what is to prevent the thief from just taking the camera along with your other valuables? What do you do for a security camera at home? I can understand using a camera outside with the recording device located inside but how do the inside cameras work so that the recording is not stolen?

That game camera is a good idea. Relatives used one to put away a druggie stealing from their business trailer.:B

I travel with a dash cam in the MH. Like most it has a setting for motion that turns it on as soon as I move, or when it sees anything moving when I'm stopped.

To get an idea of what our dog did when we're out I simply turned the dash cam pointing into the coach and the motion sensing took care of anytime she moved. I have to say it worked fantastic.

The dash cams are cheaper and better suited for what I did than trying a separate camera.
