Chevy, Ford, Dodge, which one is better? I have used both intel, and AMD chipsets in PCs that I have built. Honestly I have never had a problem with either one. I got a good deal on an AMD motherboard, so I used that on the last machine I built. Some people will argue all day that Intel is the best, yada yada yada, set a price you want to spend on a laptop, and buy one that you can afford that has the most RAM, biggest harddrive, and comes closest to the amount of money you are willing to spend. I have had good luck with HP laptops over the years, my wife has a 5 year old HP and it still going strong.
