Streaming over a 3G or 4G connection without an unlimited account is not practical. In my house we have... 3 computers, 2 smart phones, a PS3, a Wii, and DirecTV's VOD all connecting thru my grandfathered-in Verizon unlimited account. With the exception of the Wii, all these devices can be used to stream video. Daughters also watch TV shows and Netflix over the internet.
