We have iPhones because DW and I both have MacBooks and the iPhones integrate very well with the laptops. The tablet in the MH is Android as the DashCommand app works better on Android than it does on iOS. I have not had any issues with either Operating System. Android seems to require a bit more attention than iOS, but that might just be because I am more familiar with the Apple "universe". One thing for certain, Android gives you more flexibility when it comes to customization and peripherals.
