IP address conflict
My Dell XPS laptop Win7 computer has been puking up "Windows has detected an IP address conflict" many times/day. Did some research, tried all the recommended fixes (ipconfig release..etc) nothing ...

There's no network here, and there certainly isn't any network administrator I'm supposed to contact!
If you've got a computer connected via hotspot, you have a network and you're the manager. Check your computer to see how the network is configured - fixed/static or dynamic/DHCP. It's probably configured DHCP.
To me it sounds like you've got a configuration problem on your hotspot. What kind is it? Did you follow the directions for setting it up, or did you just turn it on and it seemed to work so you didn't go any further?
