I see many people suggest Apple TV for a solution to transmitting content from Apple devices to the TV.
OK, sounds like an idea if it involves a one time purchase of a box for the task.
But isn't there a subsequent cost associated with the Apple TV?
Don't you have to sign up for a subscription where you must pay pay pay on an ongoing basis to use it?
If so this sounds like a bad idea to me. I would like to transmit YouTube videos to my TV for larger viewing screen reasons but I am sure not willing to give them money every month for the ability to do so.
I've heard of Apple TV but know nothing about it. I haven't watched TV for about 37 years. Gave it up like a bad habit.
