I agree. I am not sure you got the message about the product vs. the other options available. You could get a free air card added to your current cellular account and purchase a device like a Cradlepoint router for around $100 and you would have the same or better equipment with the added ability to use WiFi as WAN to connect to available WiFi services when they are available (saving your limited cellular data).
You could also buy a MiFi device (I would recommend Millenicom if you think you will use that much data) but it does not have the capabilities provided by a Cradlepoint. Before you buy, do some additional research.
