I'd forgotten that the Cradlepoint can also pick up local WiFi signals. I've never used it that way - only used it to broadcast it's WiFi network after sourcing itself from my (now defunct) Verizon USB modem. It uses more battery power from the RV's batteries when drycamping than the Jetpack does, so I'll probably try most of the time to use only the Jetpack and stay close enough to the Jetpack to stay within it's limited range.
I switched to the Jetpack because you can use it on prepaid plans for intermittent RV trips, while the Verizon USB could not be on prepaid plans.
