The more you use Google search or any “free” Google product, Bing/Explorer or any free Microsoft product, and to a lesser extent Apple Safari the more they collect and analyze (it’s more than just cookies) about your habits, location, interests. AI and other machine learning technologies are in everything these days and there is no real stopping the advances. At the moment there are very few decision making jobs that can’t be outsourced to a software product. Very few manufacturing jobs that can’t be done with a robot or other form of automation. If you want a fairly secure job learn to build things, repair things, and how to fix a toilet.
