Jefa Tech Repeater Question

We have a Jefa Tech Wi Fi Repeater hooked to a 15 dbi antennae on the roof.

Is there a way to bypass the level one security such as a passcode or authorization page to connect?

I can see multiple wi fi's in the park, but can never connect via the repeater due to this auth request.

I can connect using any device without the repeater because a pop up window comes on a web page asking for auth code (which I have ) or accepting terms of their wifi network.

Cloning the mac address does not seem to help.

Any advice appreciated....

  • i looked at the Jefa tech manual(i have been considering getting it)

it seems pages 3 and 4 have all possibilities. have you gotten the code from the park owner?
  • Might call the Jefa folks. I found them to be very responsive and helpful when I had some minor issues. You'll talk to an engineer that knows his/her stuff.
  • The park owner could add you to their router using the mac address off of the repeater and not require the additional authorization to be entered. In essence they will assign the repeater a fixed IP. That will depend on your park of course.
