Jet pack Verizon

The jet pack works great. But when they sold us package they swotre 6gb would be enough. After two months getting hit with 50 dollar overcharges. Watched 1 movie on net flix ,told them we would be doing this. What are some options I would like to keep jet pack. They are making billions ,but wont give customers a break or a straight answer. To be charged $50 dollars more a month isn't acceptable after we told them our usage. Im not real tech savy. thanks.
  • Look here at the HotSpot plan. It's on the VZ network.

    Millenicom

20 gigs/mo for $70. No contract. Turn it on/off to suit your needs.

Beware of the Unlimited Plan. It's on Sprint which has a much smaller coverage area then VZ.

I monitor our Verizon daily. Just go to Verizonwireless.com and open your account.

You can click the "View Data Usage" under the line chart and see just how much is used at various times.

And if your phone account is with them they will send a text msg to your cell with the alert information. We have to mine and mamas both and email to both also.

    Not BEWARE, just Be Aware

I have the Millenicom unlimited plan with a Sprint Tri-Fi I picked up from eBay - in Memphis it ran LTE, now in Nashville I am on Sprint WiMax at 5mbps download speed and I have used 16GB so far this month as I use it for work and DW plays on it.

It's the best deal out there but I do also have a backup 8GB AT&T plan just in case.
  • Thanks ,I will get details from wife about plan, will be checking into millenicom. We were trying to reduce monthly bills. Closed internet with cable co. Got rid of home phone land line.Dont like the big cable bills, but what can you do.Getting closer to retiring and extra money will be limited. We have net flix ,but now understanding it will not be able to be kept, since it makes bill to high when streaming. Thanks.
