Don'y go away, I am a bit surprised as a senior member you forgot many members are waiting on Spring to get their RV out of cold storage. They are in the early stages of Cabin Fever, and just get a little crazy.
The adapter is to allow access to TV over the internet, now if land based internet like Comcast, or FIOS then easy way to access Net Flicks and other internet TV.
That said if you are using cellular for WiFi, you will likely gobble up a bunch of Gigabits using such a device.
