I took a look at the software packages mentioned in the original post. There are also others (like Movavi Screen Capture) that do similar tasks. The Applian one looks really handy.
I would just recommend that anyone using this type of software packages to use a PC that's dedicated to that cause. Essentially, your installing software on a computer that's there to snoop on your activities. in the Applian one it appears they are installing a proxy service on your machine which captures everything you do in your browser.
The user agreement also indicates they send "stuff" to the home base. I'm not saying these companies aren't legit but we've seen "flashlight" apps and the like on smart phones before sending data from our phones to God knows where. I personally wouldn't want to do my banking or shopping in front of anything like that. Just my two cents worth.
