I use these for a couple of applications - in my off camera flash (they last longer than standard batteries), in my emergency flashlights (20 year stand by rating), and in the temperature transmitters for the units I keep in my RV refrigerator freezer & outside thermometer (they operate at lower temperatures than standard batteries). While not an important consideration for my use, they are much lighter than standard batteries.
They can provide higher currents than standard batteries, so that are not recommended for some devices, and will give incorrect readings on battery life/condition in most devices that don't have a Lithium setting.
