LONG cable for DISH?
Hi all--want to connect from the house to an outbuilding about 300 yards away. Can this be done with cable that long or do I need an additional service?

What cable are you thinking of extending? The cable from the dish? No, won't go that far without some special electronics.
You won't need additional service, just take your receiver & TV out there and add another dish at that location.
Are you thinking of providing reception capability to your RV parked out there with a receiver already in it? That's what I did - just add a dish to the building and plug into the cable when you park.
