Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I was at a Verizon Store and was ask about my home phone. I was quoted a wireless home phone for $20. a month with unlimited long distance. I was told that I could take it on vacation and have my hom...

Don't have it but looked at it myself. As long as you have a wireless signal it will work. It can be plugged into any power outlet. For me, I had to put a Verizon home cell tower in. Connects to cable modem and gps and pumps up my wireless signal.
Looking to switch to it shortly.
