Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I was at a Verizon Store and was ask about my home phone. I was quoted a wireless home phone for $20. a month with unlimited long distance. I was told that I could take it on vacation and have my hom...

Thanks, that gives us some real numbers to look at and expect to see. The actual numbers may vary a bit in different states but will be similar.

My Verizon landline is only $19.99 in Rhode Island but the "extras" bring it to just over $55. (I just looked at the bill for this month!!! :E )
