Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I was at a Verizon Store and was ask about my home phone. I was quoted a wireless home phone for $20. a month with unlimited long distance. I was told that I could take it on vacation and have my hom...

Almost. I don't always have my cell phone turned on and I usually don't carry it around the house when I am home. I have 3 wireless extentions and 1 wired extention so I always have a phone near where I am and always on the same floor/level of the house that I am on.
