Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I have both the Straight Talk home phone and a Tracfone cell phone. The Straight Talk uses Verizon service and the Tracfone uses ATT service. Verizon coverage generally is the best nation wide. I spend winters in south Florida and ATT has better coverage there. If I'm in an area where Verizon reception is bad I can forward calls from my Straight Talk to my Tracfone.
