I think everybody is right...yes it is another cell phone, it does connect to your existing home phone or RV phone wiring. yes you can get rid of your home phone and port that number to a conventional cell phone if thats what you want to do. VZW Home Phone Connect has worked great in our home for the past 3 years or so, yes it does have unlimited minutes and LD is included just like your cell phone. It is considered "in network" for verizon cell phone calls to it.
It's nothing more than a cell phone that connects to existing phone wiring for $20 per month plus taxes and fees. We replaced our previous Frontier land line that had creeped (if thats a word) up to $45 monthly. (that equates to about 75 gallons of gas over a years time.. just enough to get the RV to central Florida this winter.) I was all for getting rid of the old home phone and just using our cell phones, but DW is the ultimate anti-technologist and wants her home phone set. So everybody is happy - except Frontier Communications.
