Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I was at a Verizon Store and was ask about my home phone. I was quoted a wireless home phone for $20. a month with unlimited long distance. I was told that I could take it on vacation and have my hom...

Wally World had a Black Friday sale on the Straight Talk Home Phone for $49. We went there about 9:30 am after the frenzy died down and they still had a lot of them on sale so I got one at $49.

I had looked at adding the Verizon one but my cell phone plan, with 2 phones, is grandfathered so I would have to commit to a new plan to add the Verizon Home Phone. It would have cost me about $50 more per month so buying the Straight talk and paying $15 per month was a "no brainer".
