Looking at Wireless Home Phone? Is it really portable???

I see an advantage because you can answer your home phone when you are on the road or at a second home like you are physically at your "home". If you are involved in a social group or an association and use you home phone number as your contact point, the caller can always get in touch with you, no matter were you are physically located. We use Verizon are really happy with cost and service.
