I now have the Verizon Home Phone!
It costs $20.00 a month plus tax and there is a 2 year contract. I have unlimited local and long distance, caller ID, 3 way calling and some other features that I forget.
I also signed up for the wifi with 5g and that is $50. a month plus tax.
I also kept my home phone number that I have had for 15 years!
I had att lite internet and charges for long distance.
It's almost an even swap price wise but I now have the fast internet and unlimited long distance for about $78. a month.
I read through a lot of the reviews on the home phone and it seemed the people complaining were in out of the way places that probably had poor cell service anyway.
The girl at the Verizon Store was very helpful and explained everything patiently. I even waited a week before going back to sign up. If anyone in the 904 area code area wants a referral you can PM me. I have no connection to her or Verizon, just a happy customer!
