I have a verizon jetpack that I use for WiFi in my RV. The jetpack has connectors for an external antenna. I found an external antenna on amazon that is compatible with my Verizon 7730L jetpack and it works great, it cost me about $27 and I just mounted it inside my 5th wheel.

Now I get internet access almost anywhere I go, even when my verizon cell phones can't make a phone call.

Of course I had to buy the verizon jetpack and add it to my data plan, but I spend several months a year in the RV so it is well worth it for me.

Here is the external antenna that I use for my verizon 7730L jetpack:

Note this will NOT work on a cell phone, just the verizon 7730L jetpack.
