Lost a sale today

Don't bother even trying to get in the Greenwood IN. store on I65.We made that mistake about 2 weeks ago. Made it out of there headed on south to Bowling Green, KY. plenty of parking there.

Old store now is Lifestyle RV.

No idea what OP is having trouble with. I've visited that CW many times. Large lot right off the road, large CW store, RV sales in separate lot past the parking area. Not difficult to figure out.

At one time there were signs at the old store directing people to the new store. Not sure how long they need to remain! Last summer the new store was flooded by severe rains and closed for awhile.

Was in the Vacaville CW a few weeks back , had no idea it was set up somewhat like the Roseville CW RV sales. You go inside the front door and BAM your hit with a receptionist asking you how they can help you, but its more like "HEY WE GOT A HOT ONE WHO'S ON DECK !?" We just waved her off saying we're just looking and didn't even make it around the corner and was just about knocked over from behind from a salesguy chasing after us!
I told him like I told the receptionist "we're just looking" We still couldn't shake the guy, so we left . I wanted to check out the store part but with someone on your heels doing the 20 questions I finally turned around and told the guy to back off !
The Roseville CW RV sales they herd you in like cattle !Big steps up to a single door. The reception desk is right there, you can't just browse and look , they stall you as your walking by to give one of the salesguys a chance to get in front of you.
I tried to tell them the samething, "just looking" but they still constantly badger you for info. What are you looking for?, what do you have now? , are you trading anything in? what's your budget ? what kind of monthly payment are you looking for? on and on .
LOOK STFU WE'RE JUST LOOKING and now I'm the A-Hole ... Go figure

So are all the CW RV sales outfits set up like these two ??

The one on Main Street has BIG, BIG sign that sales RV SALES. Nothing else. Rigs blocking drive when we went by. Have been shopping at Mesa Drive site for 8 years in the winter. If you want those who have used the Mesa Drive site to come to the new one, you need to put out big sign that says we've moved to - and a big sign that says Accessories, not just RV Sales. And years ago I was told by a salesman at the Main Street RV SALES lot that they did SALES of RVs only and to go to the Mesa Drive site.

Poor sales effort not to put up signs easily seen from road (while weaving through all of the road construction) that says you sell more than just RVs.

BTW, navigated a 44 ft ketch up the Inland Passage, no problems in US or Canadian waters, plus through 46 of lower 48 and the Maritimes.

you want to see a mess go to store in Coca Beach in Fl, 1st has a bad dip gettin in , no place to park (maybe 5 spots) Now the worst to get back to 95 go west then make u turn in some parking lot, this place took a lot of planning to screw it up this bad

I live near the store in Mesa, but I don't know what the OP is talking about. I am not trying to bash anyone, but you really think it is easier to get into the old store and finding the old store more than the new store? The old store, you had to drive past a car dealership - which looked like you were pulling into the car dealership and go down a driveway/street to get to camping world where they had around 10 parking spots and usually they were full. The store was small and poorly lit. The new store, has over 50 spots to park at and a minimum and usually half of them are empty. I will say that if you are driving your RV into the store, it could be a little confusing. I think they will allow you to park in the back, but I have not driven in there. The store is a little pushed back into the building, I will give you that, but there are signs everywhere telling you where the store is. I personally hate going to camping world. They never have anything new, it is always the same inventory, and their prices are 10-25% higher than online. If I need something right away, then I will go in. I tried to look at a few trailers they supposedly had on their lot, but the people couldn't find them - we literally drove around on the golf cart for 30min while the guys tried to find the trailers we were looking for and did not find them.

OK, I have to admit although I don't care for CW while on the road I do pull in to buy needed replacement parts.I can find them. They can't hide from RVers with smart phones. However, since CWs aren't really close together I may pull into one while traveling down the highway. My 1st objection is NO parking for MHs with toads.So I end up going on to next RV park and going to a local mom & pop RV supply for the part. The 2nd objection with CW is I roll in off the highway for an obvious needed part, like a toilet ball seal and get the reply, "We can order that part and it will be here in 10 days." My reply, "I can order that part from Amazon and get it in 10 days, I can order it from mom & pops RV and get it over night. JMHO.
