I was a PC kind of a guy since the Commodore computers died. I really thought that when it came to a PC, you just automatically had to replace it every couple years because they, for lack of better words, wore out. The more recent ones lasted a shorter time than the previous ones.
I finally went to a Mac... lot more money and another learning curve but not too much of a big deal.
I have to say, the Mac is absolutely trouble free. It just chugs along day in and day out. Once you switch, you'll never go back.
