Magnadyne Rear Camera Monitor With 'Issues'0C

Hi,

The Magnadyne Model M130C camera monitor on my 2011 Itasca Sunstar has been acting up for some time now. It all started several months ago with the 'muted' monitor speaker coming on full volume whenever I activated a turn signal ( the Itasca also has the side view cameras that activate when the turn signal is employed prior to turning a corner. The only way to shut the errant speaker off is to turn the monitor off , and then back on again...Ahh, peace & quiet, no more 'white noise' at full volume! The monitor is still overriding its 'menu-muted' speaker whenever a turn is signaled.

As a probable result of overuse, the on/off switch on the monitor's panel is no longer working. Now I have to use the monitor's remote to turn it on and off.

The other day, as I was entering the freeway, the monitor stared flashing from bright to dim. I can find no way to stop it from doing that, and yes, it is bit distracting when driving the motprhome.

IF anyone can help me to stop the switching of the monitor from bright to dim every 30 seconds ( without turning the unit off and leaving it off), I would appreciate their help. Has anyone one else experienced these issues with the Magnadyne's side/rear view camera system and its monitor?

My previous coach ( a 2004 Winnebago 'Class C Minnie') had a Magnadyne 'RV Radio/CD player in the dashboard, and after two years, the radio died a sudden death. Now I have another Magnadyne product that also appears to be 'dying'. Does Magnadyne make anything that lasts for a decent amount of time? I think not!

Thank You for your time.....
