Max Amp vs WeBoost cell amplifier comparison.

The link below is to a thread on the Stormtrack storm chaser forum comparing the performance of the Maximum Signal Max Amp Mobile versus the WeBoost Drive 4G-X cell boosters in real world testing. Interesting results, and keep in mind that just a 3dB boost is a doubling of the signal strength. A 20 dB boost is 100 times stronger.

For most of us, I think the most important part of the comparison is this quote:

Well two things I need to add. Most importantly, I was able to get into a dead zone on Att. The Weboost got me a signal, but not LTE. The Max amp got me LTE. And 3 bars of it. Now I hate to reference bars, but there's no way to know the exact gain since you can't go less than "no signal" db.
