Because people are too dumb to go to Medicare.gov and get price comparison without interference from the companies running deceptive ads.

I use the zero payment Medicare Advantage because I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars monthly and I do realize that if everything goes bad I might pay a bit more out of pocket. In those years years where there are no extraordinary medical expenses, I am ahead. So far I am way ahead of the game.

Same problem with all those Medicare ads here in Dallas. You'd think by now old Joe Namath would have figured out the reason they can look up his benefits "instantly" is that he keeps calling them over and over and ...

At least this year he no longer uses the same tone when he says "Free!" like last year. I'm thinking he finally ditched those really tight panty hose he was wearing.

The Enrollment period has expiered but any agent worth his name tag can still enroll you... What's worse is I got a call from one company telling me my doctor now is part of their plan and asking me to switch.

Title 47 SS 227 USC Prohibits cold calls to Cell phones. Seniors and phones on the DO NOT CALL LIST (i'm all 3)
Doctor is a former doctor. They confused me with another patient and terminated me as a patient so I know have a new Doctor.

ANd another SPAM call incoming as I type.

When I get back to MI I'll explain to them in greater detail.

Some OLD PEOPLE are still working 30 or so hours a week!

Have had an Advantage plan for years now, and it has served me very well. Heart patient and diabetes just to start. I do have some co-pays but it seems to balance out pretty well. I do pay a bit above $0 to full nation-wide coverage, which is important when we are traveling. AT that, it may not be the best choice for others.
