I use the Wilson Sleek amplifier combined with the Wilson Short Trucker Antenna with Millenicom's Hotspot. Are there places where I couldn't connect to a Verizon tower? Sure - no cell carrier covers every square foot of the country. That said, I also carry an AT&T iPhone (also in a Sleek amp when driving), and there are far more places where the Millenicom system connects and the AT&T does not.
Right now I'm in Buckskin Mountain State Park in AZ, and the Millenicom Hotspot is connected to Verizon 4G LTE with an RSSI of 82% and a signal strength of -89db. The AT&T phone is either no service or one bar. On the other hand, in parts on northeast Maine, no Verizon & good AT&T coverage.
