Doesn't your Samsung tablet support Bluetooth? Get a separate Bluetooth enabled GPS receiver, and select it for use with your GPS software. That way you can position the GPS puck to better pickup satellites.

Yes it does have Bluetooth so I will look into your suggestion, I haven't ever used anything with Bluetooth but I can learn it.
