A better choice is a WI-Fi range extender.. I suggest you "mount"such a device on your roof,,, If the unit has seperate antenna for the Park side and the Client (Tablet) side you can even make a directional adapter for it to give it better range.. (And that might even work if it has only one antenna)

My tablet came with a mirco to a male end for the charger that I can get a adapter to change it to female. Samsung has a cable that you can put a thumb drive to it for saving things.
