As of 12/12 the Millenicom website was still active and advertising the 20GB for $90 plan. From the new website the people behind Millenicom are moving into a new type of data service that they are calling "HiFi".
We use Verizon for our cell phones but not for data as the costs are too high for our business use. For intermittent use while traveling in the USA, Verizon does provide a prepaid plan for the Mifi that costs $60 for 3GB but has no activation fee, and it expires after 30 days and you lose whatever data has not been used. As always in this country we pay a lot more to get a lot less or SNAFU.
