Let's try to keep the known facts straight
Verizon "consumer customer service"
Does not know anything about Mellenicom
VZW Corp business affairs definitely knows who Mellenicom is
They sold them the bandwidth, and enough access to the VZW system to manage a block of telephone account numbers
And yes it's been six days since VZW acquired control of those accounts, and eight days left in the month until the announced double data on phones promotion ends
Many of Mellenicom users only want data, they don't want to change their phone accounts
Doing do may our may not be the best idea for them
For others, combining everything into one account will come about about the same total price
Those using Tracfone , straight talk, consumer cellular, PHONES etc... it will mean an increased monthly expense, so yes they want to hang onto the last minute
