Straight Talk ZTE Z289G Hotspot is on AT&T network, and the ZTE Z288L is on Verizon network. They are both 4g LTE
and somewhere I read that the device was at $99 but has now dropped to $79
Both Hotspots along with Straight Talk's year old UniMax U240C Verizon based 3G only model use the same plans:
$15 for 1 GB good for 30 days
$25 - 2 GB - 30 days
$40 - 4 GB - 60 days
$50 - 5 GB - 60 days
$75 - 7GB - 60 days
My understanding on the Straight Talk plans is that you can buy overlapping data. If you start out with a 60 day card of 7GB and use it up before the 60 days are up... you either wait until the start of the next 60 day cycle or you buy a 30 day card (of whatever amount you want) to keep you connected.
