Things have changed. Our Verizon MIFI, only game in town, really, is throttled. Sometimes we can't load anything. The message it is taking too long etc. It might take several attempts. Sometimes no connection. Sometimes the connection just goes away. Together with Firefox and seemingly impossible to block pop ups and ads and being routed through ad sites. Many times we have to kill the connection and go again because the ad sites the link going through takes the space. Deleting cookies, helps a lot but have to do it each time you go to a different site.
Supposedly we can connect up to ten devices on our 4G service but there is only three computers and usually just one connected ,sometimes two.
The cost is staggering with doing homework, on line and looking for jobs.
Near 500.00 one month.
you need to go argue that one. I've heard of others getting credits put through because of the connect/disconnect/reconnect cycle. Are you using a signal booster? Even a Wilson Cradle would help some. Call the 3G store (find it online... just google The 3G Store...) and talk to them about getting one. It's super simple to use. It will run you about $100.
Are you SURE that you are not on roaming where you are?? If you don't have a true Verizon tower... their device will only give you 100 to 300 MB before the throttling sets in. You have to be on a VERIZON tower to use their internet.
