Yes, we are, but "loyalty" (a fiction in the world of business) has nothing to do with it.
The ex-Millenicom customers are getting a better deal than loyal Verizon customers? That seems like a silly way to run a train.
I no more expect Verizon to reward me for being a "loyal" customer for the last ten years than they expect me to stay with them out of "loyalty". Do you stay with Verizon because you are somehow "loyal" to this huge corporation, or because they provide the services you want at a better price than the competition?
BTW, the deal we are getting is not as good as what we got from Millenicom, except for the dramatically lower cost of going over the 20 GB monthly allotment. Instead of paying $90, with no added taxes or fees, we are paying $100, plus taxes and fees. - MrWizardModeratorYes...better than some
But I remember paying $49.99 for 5 gig, and overage was charged by the Mb , and if you wanted 20 gig, you would have needed four lines and $200, plus the taxes and extras on each line or pay about $2000 in overage charges by the Mb
Compare that to the $130 .... 20 gig plan...$70 savings now
And yes there are a few of us around who got an unlimited promotional plan back when Android phones first came out..
If you can get a good promotional plan ...hang onto it

The Mellenicom users are technically New Verizon customers

Which is really what they used to pay Mellenicom
In order to retain them as customers
Are the former Millenticom users getting a better deal than other new or old Verizon customers? Or not? I don't care about promotional or otherwise. - louiskathyExplorerMy guess is something is in the works... Not all the Millenicom folks committed to Verizon. And there are some that have not gone with anyone yet.

- jhilleyExplorerAfter a one hour and fifteen minute wait on hold, Jessie helped me put the Millenicom HotSpot on my more every thing plan for $20/mo and able to share my 30GB with our three smart phones.

$99.99 + tax (less then $1) and overages at $8/Gig.
There is no expiration to this no-contract plan. I had heard rumors that Verizon would make me switch to a regular plan after one year but was told that was not true.
If you leave this new plan, you cannot come back.
Was told that I MUST use the Mifi I have now. If I want to get a newer model, then I'll have to pay for it up front and switch to a regular contract.
Millenicom folks have until 8:00 PM EST tonite to contact Verizon.

"Any one what to buy a good MIFI device?"
HA - I've got TWO of them now!!!
Update: Verizon DID honor the 20GB limit, but they have deemed that there will be no contracts needed and the price will be $99.99 a month. Of course, that 20gig will ONLY be available to (former) Millenicom customers.
Call 800.233.8974 to get thru to someone who knows about this. I talked to a girl named Melissa she was great. AND NO Verizon CONTRACT, so if they start sucking again, we're gone!
